Whitwell Sandwich and Espresso bar is a well known independent sandwich shop with a difference, providing excellent quality with unbeatable service. Change of ownership last year has seen great improvements to the food on offer, retaining the classics but also adding new and unusual items to the menu.

Great success has been achieved with input from our regulars in creating new and exciting combinations, with the most successful appearing on our “roll of honour menu” available for all to try and savour.

Our ingredients are locally sourced where possible; our bread is organic and delivered daily from a small family of Italian bakers. Our salad bar is prepared daily and a great success with both Vegetarians and Vegans.

Homemade red and green pesto, chilli jam, onion marmalade, Italian sun dried tomatoes which we marinade for 1 month are just some of the exciting flavours we have to offer, and in our contribution towards a better environment most of our disposables and packaging are either biodegradable or recyclable.

A fantastic range of home baking is available daily such as Blueberry and lemon drizzle cake, caramel shortcake topped with a thick layer of Belgian chocolate and luscious brownies just some of the delights that will tempt you to ditch the diet!

So if you fancy a “Healthy Henry”, “Gareth Cin” or a "Junktion7" come and have an experience I guarantee you will want to repeat.
